Feliz Miercoles Flowerchild family!!
I told you guys in this season I am being very intentional with the words I speak, because words are SPELLS. And if anyone is going to put a spell on my life, it may as well be ME.
I feel that I have a heart full of beautiful intentions for myself and for the world. And who knows for sure, but WHAT IF everything that we think and say really does manifest?
So today, I welcomed this rising (not morning/mourning) with gratitude. I am grateful for the ability to witness a new day. I am grateful for a good night’s rest. I am grateful for a WHOLE (not a piece/peace) of mind.
Today I recognize this day as how it is pronounced in Espanol, MIERCOLES. The Spanish word for Wednesday also resonates with the word MIRACULOUS for me.
miraculous (adj.)
- “exceedingly surprising or wonderful; of the nature of a miracle,” mid-15c., from Old French miraculos.
miracle (n.)
- “highly improbable and extraordinary and bringing very welcome consequences.”
- “an amazing product or achievement, or an outstanding example of something.”
- from mirari “to wonder at, marvel, be astonished,” figuratively “to regard, esteem,” from mirus “wonderful, astonishing, amazing,”
Today, I know that something miraculous will transpire. And I’m not talking about a million dollars falling from the sky (although this would be lovely) or for our new family home to miraculously build itself in our dream location. I’m talking about events that I can witness with my physical eyes and others can as well.
These events have an explanation, but the beauty and wonder of these occurrences get blurred out of view, because maybe the focus is set to capture things that do not ordinarily happen. Does this make sense? Exceedingly suprising events that bring welcoming consequences actually happen everyday for each one of us and we can see it, experience it, feel it; it’s not imaginative.

I do realize that extraordinary things take place in our world all of the time. But, I think we set ourselves up for disappointment when we don’t allow the unexpected to happen because we’re expecting it!
Like, we spoil the felicity in the mystery just like a child who has already taken a peep at their Christmas gifts before Christmas.
We have this idea formulated in our minds of how the miracle is going to look, when it will happen, how it will unfold, etc. And we’re waiting impatiently in expectation mode, looking for a “rabbit out of a hat” miracle, and we’re overlooking all the other miracles that happen right in front of our faces!
So, in order to keep myself from spoiling the awe of the unexpected, I will marvel at what is within my realm of appreciation. I will start by focusing on the miracles that I witness every day that bring joy to my life and helps me to practice gratitude.
Miracle #1
I am amazed at how my body was designed to nourish my newborn baby with human milk. That’s a miracle to me! I don’t have to exhaust funds buying formula for my precious little one, because my body was created to provide everything she needs in the first year of life? I AM enough?? That’s phenomenal!
Miracle #2
It’s astonishing to witness how my older 2 children absorb the material that I teach them in homeschool. They actually trust that I am feeding them wisdom and right knowledge of the world. That’s mind blowing to me! Lol! Because there are times when I have to stop and question my self! So, how are they so trusting of me? That’s miraculous. It’s amazing to see how they grow and learn each day. I marvel at their intelligence.
Miracle #3
It is a miracle for me to leave my home every day and return home without illness, unscathed, and unharmed with all of the things that are going on in the world. With each sunrise, I will witness this as a miracle, because it truly is miraculous to escape the many probabilities of danger throughout the day.
Now, it’s your turn!
Today, try to find at least 3 things to have gratitude about. As you can see with my examples, the simple things in life that we often overlook are enough to express gratitude.
Maybe it’s a miracle that you’re even alive reading this message! You may be living today against all odds. A doctor may have told you years ago that the chances of survival from that crash was slim and that if you’d survive, you’d be in a vegetative state. But here you are alive and well with activity in all of your limbs AND you have a sound mind. That’s miraculous!
What happens when we shift our focus from expecting miracles to appreciating the small miracles every day?
Here’s the secret. You can’t attract more if you’re unable to appreciate what you already have.
Think back to when you were a child and you asked your parents for more food before you even finished your plate. What was most likely their response? Finish the food in your plate before you can get some more! Or Your eyes must be bigger than your stomach.
Little did we know, our parents were teaching us an important life lesson, which is to appreciate and enjoy what you have…what is in front of you…before asking for more! This is the Universal Law of Gratitude.

So by shifting my focus on a few simple yet miraculous events in my life, I am in return positioning myself to be in alignment to attract even more miraculous things that are unexpected/unpredicted.
Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire, If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.Be thankful when you’re tired and weary
Because it means you’ve made a difference. It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.

Absolutely!! I am learning that skill each day. It took me 31 years to come into this knowledge, but I’m glad it resonates with me now after I healed in certain areas of my life.
