Tuesday Tip: Don’t forget to Rest

There’s no such thing as being too old for healing. Your traumas and triggers are like a Jack-in-the-box. You can suppress those issues and emotional pain for as long as you possibly can until one day….POP goes the weasel.

This season, please take the time to address any suppressed pain or traumatic life experiences with a professional, if required. Asking for help is not a sign of defeat. We are human and even superhumans who are mutifaceted eventually become tired.

Get some real Rest.

RESTrain from any activities or associations that are adding stressors to your life.

RESTore your health by taking a trip to a location and prepare to do nothing! Restore your mind and body. Detach from cellular devices and social media and spend time in present moments with loved ones.

Afterwards,
RESTructure your schedule and tasks to ensure your daily operations do not involve high levels of stress. As best as you can, organize a daily schedule that involves deep breathing exercises, meditation, laughter, love emotions, stretching, or anything that brings you internal happiness. This will balance out work stress, parental stress, and all other life stressors that are unfortunately unavoidable.

Our mental, emotional, and physical health should always be a priority. We can operate at our highest potential whenever we put ourselves first.
